CALLOUT 22
This morning just before 11am (23/02/25) the team were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS) to assist with an ongoing incident in Hapton, where one of our former team members was on scene as a paramedic. They were specifically requesting the use of our full-body vacuum mattress to extract a casualty from the upstairs of their home after a fall and suspecting a vast array of serious injuries.
Team members were mobilised to the location and the equipment used to extract the casualty from their home and to the ambulance where they were transferred on to Preston’s Major trauma centre for ongoing care and assessments. We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
