If you follow our team, you may likely have seen the posts we shared from Lancashire Police or in other news articles over the past few days as the team has been assisting with a search for a missing gentleman, in the Tockholes area.The team was initially deployed alongside Bolton Mountain Rescue Team overnight in the early hours of Sunday morning (01:10 23/3/25); and redeployed offering further assistance as the search continued through Sunday afternoon, Monday and Tuesday. A large-scale multi-agency operation was conducted searching the area and the police investigation continues.
Brian, 80, remains missing at this time and was believed to be wearing a brown cap, blue top and blue trousers. And his car, a grey Citreon C4, was found in a nearby layby on the A675. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the police.
